  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions within the financial services and insurance industries
  • Support our strategic consulting teams in the areas of disability, healthcare, life insurance, captive insurance, and retirement services for our customers
  • Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenditure, employment reports, and benefits reports
  • Provide a high level of quality consulting service, professionalism, and commitment to clients
  • Administer and implement new client installations and renewals
  • Work with the team and interface with clients to resolve issues, review contracts, documents, and consult deliverables for completeness and accuracy for our customers
  • Recommend new systems, procedures, or organizational change
  • Undertake and lead consulting projects in areas of risk management, alternate funding solutions and employee benefits
  • Additionally, provide support to projects in the areas of project management, workload, and day to day assignments
  • Limited international travel (<5%) and to client sites within the U.S. (25%)


  • Master’s degree of foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration (with a concentration in Finance), or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position providing analysis and advising clients regarding alternate funding solutions, focusing on captive-insurance transactions
  • Two (2) years with each of the following:
    • 1) analyzing financial statements and investigating similarities to other accounts within the same industry
    • 2) developing reports on the implications of the earnings potential of insurance plans and related accounting implications
    • 3) providing client recommendations based on working knowledge of risk finance mechanisms, with emphasis on captive insurance
    • 4) critiquing, refining, and running financial models through scenarios as well as performing error analysis and risk assessment on said models
    • 5) analyzing trends in individual company insurance plans to provide an insurance policy framework based on their trends and potential plan options
