Spring is proud to announce that managing partner, Karin Landry has been named by Captive Review to the publication’s “Power 50” list for 2014.
The Power 50 list is widely considered as a “who’s who” listing of the captive insurance industry. Within the list, the judges rank the top 50 most influential professionals for the concluding year and Landry was ranked #8 this year.
This honored distinction follows the recent announcement that Landry was selected U.S. Captive Professional of the Year and caps off a year of significant growth and notoriety for Spring’s team of captive consultants and actuaries. As employers across the globe sought alternative funding methods to lessen the blow of skyrocketing benefit costs, interest in bringing them into their existing captives picked up significantly in 2014. Standing squarely on the front lines of the employee benefit captive shift has been Spring and our 8 patents for benefit funding through the use of captives.
According to the Captive Review piece about the Power 50 list: “Writing employee benefits insurance through captives has been an increasingly recurring theme throughout 2014 and Landry’s influence on both sides of the Atlantic can be cited as a strong factor. “
We couldn’t be more proud for Karin and our entire captive team. Here’s looking to an even more innovative and successful 2015!
