Two separate educational sessions will be featuring Spring partners this year. First, Spring Senior Partner and head of our Captive Team, Karin Landry, will be presenting with Steven Bujarski, Manager of Risk Financing for Carlson, Inc. in a session titled: Managing Medical Stop-Loss in Your Captive. This session is a masters-level presentation that will look at the reasons why an employer would consider writing medical stop-loss into their captive, some of the regulatory and logistical considerations involved with such an endeavor and a few tips by a captive owner who has successfully gone through the process.
Spring Partner and head of our Integrated Disability Management Team, Karen English, will also be presenting at RIMS this year. The topic of her session will be: Trends and Best Practices in leave Management and ADAAA Administration and she will be joined by co-presenter Terri Rhodes, who is the Executive Director of the Disability Management Employers Coalition (DMEC). This innovative-level session will educate attendees on all things FMLA, ADA and ADAAA and how to best stay compliant with local, state and federal leave regulations.
If you are planning on attending RIMS, be sure check out these two informative sessions and you’ll also want to stop by booth #133 in the exhibition hall to meet John Cassell and Peter Bandarenko and the rest of our Spring RIMS Team. We will be handing out our famous plush flowers and Spring flower pens and you can enter our raffle to win a new Slingbox for your TV. Oh, and you can also pick the brains of our consultants with your company’s particular challenges while you are there.
The RIMS 2015 Annual Conference & Exhibition runs from April 26-29 in New Orleans, Louisiana. More information about the event can be found here.
