Assistant Vice President - Absence & Disability
Lynne is an Assistant Vice President of Absence and Disability with Spring Consulting Group, an Alera Group Company. She has over twenty-five years in the disability, absence, life, dental, vision, and supplemental health industry, with a particular emphasis on compliance and alternative risk management strategies. In addition, Lynne is well versed in the laws pertaining to employee benefits such as ERISA, tax, and state insurance law (including statutory disability and paid family medical leave laws and regulations).
Prior to joining Spring, Lynne led the national non-medical, employee benefits practice for a brokerage firm after completing a technical rotation at Unum. During her tenure at Unum, she served in multiple roles, ranging from being one of Unum’s first national accounts disability underwriters and developing the disability underwriting training program, to compliance and product development, to corporate counsel. Lynne is well regarded for developing client centric, innovative, and compliant solutions that are responsive to client’s goals and objectives.
Lynne holds a B.A. degree from Smith College and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. She is a member of the Maine Bar and is a licensed insurance broker.
