Joe is a Senior Consulting Actuary at Spring Consulting Group, an Alera Group Company, LLC and has over 20 years of experience in the actuarial and consulting arena. For decades Joe has helped employers optimize health and retirement plans across an array of benefit lines including Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB), pension benefits, medical/Rx, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and more.

At Spring, Joe works in our actuarial division and assists clients in analyzing claims history, conducting underwriting/plan design services, projecting renewal rates, identifying savings opportunities, evaluating funding tactics, and other analytical and financial functions within employer benefit plans.

Prior to joining Spring, Joe held health and retirement consulting positions at Aon and Mercer. Joe graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Mathematics. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
