After suffering through the record-setting snowfall of the past few weeks in Boston, Team Spring cannot wait to head south to sunny Florida for the annual Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) conference.
The event, taking place from March 8-10 at the Lowes Royal Pacific in Orlando, will feature a number of exhibits and presentations from some of the captive insurance industries leading minds. This year’s event features a session titled Developing the Operational Strategy of Managing Medical Stop Loss in Your Captive presented by Stephen Hannabury, President of Educators Health Insurance Exchange of New England, Jesse Crary, an attorney from Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer PC and Spring’s Senior Partner John Cassell. The session will focus on Ed Health, a medical stop loss group captive consisting of 11 Boston-area colleges that Spring assisted in the development of. Attendees will hear of Ed Health’s success to date and lessons learned through the development and ongoing management of a medical stop loss group captive.
Spring will also be exhibiting at CICA this year. If you are planning on attending the conference, be sure to stop by booth #45 and pick up some free Spring swag.
